I’m Dennis Kamau, a creative producer and videographer based in Nairobi, specializing in corporate videos, documentaries, branded content, and promotional films that help businesses, organizations, and brands tell compelling visual stories. 

Bio

For more than a decade, I’ve worked behind the camera helping organizations, brands, and communities tell stories that matter. My experience spans every stage of production—from planning and filming to editing, motion graphics, and post-production—ensuring every project is crafted with purpose and attention to detail.

I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with organizations including FilmAid Kenya and the National Museums of Kenya, producing documentaries, branded content, and multilingual ADR projects. Whether documenting real lives or creating content for brands, I focus on authentic storytelling that informs, inspires, and leaves a lasting impact.

Every project begins with a story worth telling. This featured film reflects my approach to filmmaking—capturing authentic moments, meaningful experiences, and visuals that leave a lasting impression.

Recent Work

Set along the shores of South Coast – Kenya, this film captures the essence of Kaya Kwetu—a sacred space for rest, connection, and renewal.

A look into Sanergy’s organics recycling facility in Kenya — transforming waste into valuable resources through a circular economy approach.

Created during the #IAmWangariMaathai movement, this video documents the moments surrounding the protection of Uhuru Park in Nairobi.

 For over 31 years, Diani Children’s Village has supported vulnerable children in rebuilding their lives with dignity and opportunity. This film shares stories of hope, resilience, and transformation.

Recent Collaborative Work

Edited in collaboration with a South Africa-based production team, this project highlights Freedom Mukanga’s work strengthening partnerships across hydrometeorology, entrepreneurship, and agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Worked as the field camera operator on this collaboration with a Spain-based producer and editor, documenting cross-border humanitarian responses and stories during the Sudan crisis.

Worked as the video editor and motion graphics artist on this collaboration for Irex. The Impact Fellowships Network (IFN) is a key node in the global fellowship ecosystem—accelerating innovation and providing a trusted space for fellowship.
